This course will detail how to determine if malpractice exists and why this litigation is impacting the insurance industry. We will present how to assessing economic and non-economic loses for plaintiffs. The course will discuss the Pennsylvania environment detailing MCARE and JUA options for coverage. Lastly, we will dissect the malpractice policy discussing Occurrence and Claims Made triggers, the benefits provided by the contract and where we are heading.
