Guide to Long Term Care

This course will get you up to speed with the options available to funding the costs of long term care services. We’ll begin the course by identifying how long term care services fit into a client’s personal financial plan. We’ll discuss what types of services can be provided under an insured arrangement, including home health care, assisted living, and full nursing home care. We’ll cover Plan Designs, ADL’s, and Tax qualification. Lastly we will detail the options under Medicare/Medicaid, Spend down guides, and other options such as Accelerated Death Benefits.

This course meets the refresher LTC training that is required every 24 months for PA producers (who sell, solicit, or negotiate LTC) to maintain certification.
